Refund and Cancellation
How Cynerza handles cancellations, refunds, and project payment expectations.
This page explains the general website-level position on cancellations and refunds. Exact payment, milestone, cancellation, and refund terms for software projects are normally defined in signed proposals, MSAs, SOWs, or service agreements.
Refund Overview
Because Cynerza provides service-based and project-based work, refund and cancellation terms usually depend on the signed agreement, the work already completed, and the billing model selected for the engagement.
Project Agreements Control
For paid services, the controlling terms are the written agreement, proposal, statement of work, or invoice terms accepted by the client. If there is any difference between this page and a signed agreement, the signed agreement will generally control.
Cancellation of Discussions or Consultations
Initial discussions, discovery calls, or consultation scheduling may be rescheduled or cancelled by either party. If a paid workshop or reserved engagement slot is involved, any applicable cancellation terms will be communicated in advance.
Refunds for Service-Based Work
Cynerza does not generally offer automatic refunds for work that has already been performed, time that has already been reserved, or deliverables that have already been produced.
If a refund request is raised, it will usually be reviewed based on work completed, milestones achieved, invoices issued, and the terms agreed for the engagement model.
- Completed work is typically non-refundable
- Reserved time or allocated resources may be billable even if the project is paused or cancelled
- Milestone and acceptance terms should be reviewed in the governing project agreement
Subscription, Retainer, or Ongoing Support Work
Where Cynerza provides ongoing support, retainers, or recurring service arrangements, cancellation notice periods and billing cutoffs should be handled according to the signed service terms.
Any future unused period may be reviewed based on the agreed notice window, resource planning commitments, and any non-cancellable charges already incurred.
Dispute Resolution for Billing Questions
If a client believes an invoice, milestone, or payment event is incorrect, the best path is to raise the issue promptly with the Cynerza team so it can be reviewed against the relevant scope, timeline, and agreement terms.
Contact About Refund or Cancellation Questions
Questions about refunds, cancellations, rescheduling, or payment terms should be directed to Cynerza through the website contact details or the designated project contact shared during the engagement.
